MEDICAL HISTORY: Beth suffered from many bumps and bruises growing up with her abusive stepfather. Upon her exam during her hospital stay in 1983, Dr. Justin Marler confronted her about many noticeable injuries that had gone untreated. In October 1984, she was blinded in an explosion at Lujack's new club.
Upon her return to Springfield in 1989, she suffered from aphasia (inability to speak) and amnesia, the apparent result of her abduction in 1986. In 2001, she suffered injuries from a fall from a tower in San Cristobel. Then she was presumed dead after a flash flood in Mexico, where she was seeking a divorce from Edmund Winslow. She returned to Springfield as Beth's lookalike, Lorelei, but the truth finally surfaced that she was Beth, suffering from a split personality after the trauma of her near-death experience. She is currently reunited with her family and working toward a reunion with Phillip. Miraculously, she didn't seem to need medical attention once she got home.
LEGAL HISTORY: Beth charged her stepfather, Bradley, with rape, and testified against him in court. In 1985, she was arrested for breaking & entering the home of India & Phillip Spaulding. The charges were later dropped. In 1990, Beth was sentenced to community service for her role in faking Phillip's death to avoid his conviction for Neil Everest's murder.
OCCUPATIONS: During college, Beth waited tables at the Country Club to help pay her expenses. In New York with Phillip, she sketched and joined Phillip in a mime act. Back in Springfield, she set up shop at Company drawing charicatures for patrons. She later put her artistic skills to work for Delilah Records when Lujack, was pursuing his music career. In 1986, she worked at a museum with Professor Blackburn. In 1990, she designed the Tower mural for Spaulding Enterprises. She also later became a Spaulding VP.
